- Proof of Age (birth certificate or passport)
- Proof of Guardianship (birth certificate or court document)
- Proof of Residency (a bill or government document showing Texas address and dated no older than 60 days or military PCS orders to Texas*)

- Immunization records, required for all public-school enrollments in Texas, must be received within the first 30 days of enrollment
- Our registrars will follow up with the previous school to obtain the student’s academic file.
What is the process of withdrawing from TVAH?
If you would like to transfer to another K12 school. We have an approved student transfer process and will guide you through the steps. Explore what K12-powered schools are available in your new state. If you are transferring to a non-K12-powered school, please notify your student’s homeroom teacher or assistant principal of the withdrawal and contact the new school to determine their list of required enrollment documents.
If you are withdrawing, or transferring out of, TVAH/K12, parents can submit a request for records using the following links, or parents can email TVAH info [email protected] with a written request for records. Please make sure to include contact information when emailing.
Will my child have options to engage and socialize with other students?
With online engagement activities, including school art competitions, STEM events, student organizations, K12-powered online extracurricular activities unite students as they unwind, have fun, and explore shared passions. Learn more about our opportunities for socialization and enrichment here.
If we are out-of-state at the time of required state testing, are we required to return for the test?
The state of Texas does not allow for exemptions from state testing for any reason. However, with a PCS order for Active-duty service outside of Texas, TVAH will not withdraw your student due to absence from STAAR/EOC testing.
For high school students, the state of Texas requires passing scores in five mandatory End-of-Course Exams: Algebra 1, English 1, English 2, US History, and Biology. If you are out-of-state and unable to return for the typical spring administration, the TVAH campus ambassadors can discuss alternatives with you.
