If your student is behind on credits, the TVAH Credit Recovery Program is here to help.  Designed to help your student succeed, we offer a flexible, supportive, and proven pathway to help students catch up, earn missing credits, and move confidently toward graduation, without sacrificing quality or support.  Credit Recovery empowers students to successfully complete the required coursework and achieve their academic goals.

How the Program Works:

  • Self-Paced Learning
Students progress through coursework at their own pace while meeting established deadlines.
  • Online Curriculum
Standards-aligned courses are delivered through the Stride K12 approved digital learning platform.
  • Pre-Assessment
Students must complete the required pre-assessment, which will guide the student to the specific learning needed to fill any gaps, prior to taking the course final exam.
  • Teacher Support
Certified teachers provide instruction, guidance, feedback, and ongoing academic support.
  • Progress Monitoring
Student activity and performance are regularly reviewed to ensure success and timely completion.

Students enrolled in the Credit Recovery Program are expected to:

  • Log in consistently and actively engage in coursework
  • Independently complete the required pre-assessment and final exam
  • Complete two-part exams for English courses (multiple choice and written response)
  • Attend scheduled support sessions
  • Communicate proactively with teachers and staff when assistance is needed
  • Meet all course completion deadlines

To ensure student success, the following supports are available:
