TVAH Families Come Together for a Fun-Filled October Outing Across Texas
On October 13, Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville hosted in-person outing events across multiple locations throughout Texas and our school spirit couldn’t have been brighter. Students, families, and staff gathered for an afternoon of fall fun, hands-on activities, and meaningful connection.
These outings are an important part of our mission to bring our virtual community together in real, face-to-face ways, and this month’s event was one of our most joyful yet.
A Day Full of Creativity and Fall Fun
From cookie decorating to coloring activities to outdoor games, our TVAH ambassadors and families enjoyed a wide variety of stations designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. Students loved working side by side with classmates they typically see on screen, while families had the chance to meet teachers, staff, and other TVAH parents.

A Special Homecoming Surprise
Some of the most memorable moments came from a heartfelt gesture by one of our TVAH parents, who made beautiful homecoming mums for members of our staff. Their pride, creativity, and generosity truly captured the spirit of our school community. The mums quickly became a crowd favorite and made for some of our most cherished photos from the day.

Building Community Across the State
Because our families live throughout Texas, we host multiple outing locations to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate. No matter the city, the energy was the same: students laughing over cookie designs, younger learners coloring together at picnic tables, and families connecting under sunny fall skies. These gatherings remind us how strong and supportive the TVAH community is throughout Texas.
Looking Ahead
We are grateful to all the families who joined us and to our incredible ambassadors who helped bring the day to life. We can’t wait for our next outing and look forward to creating even more opportunities for our students to learn and grow.
Thank you for being part of the TVAH family. Let’s keep building school community, one outing at a time!
