Meet Isla—TVAH’s Star Student Chef in the K12 National Cook-Off!

We’ve got some delicious news to share—Isla, a talented 9th grader at Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville, made it all the way to the finals of the K12 National Cook-Off!

After rising to the top in a fierce virtual round, Isla earned her spot in the in-person competition held at the Kitchen of Purpose in Arlington, Virginia. There, she showed off her culinary skills, competing for a $1,000 grand prize and proudly representing TVAH on the national stage!
