NCAA schools require college-bound student-athletes to build a strong foundation of high school courses to prepare them for the academic expectations in college. TVAH, which the NCAA recognizes, offers high school courses that count toward the 16 NCAA-approved courses required to become a college athlete.

Student-athletes must also graduate from high school and earn a minimum GPA.
